Genres of music are established as much by tradition and presentation as by the actual music. Some performs, like George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, are claimed by equally jazz and classical music, although Gershwin's Porgy and Bess and Leonard Bernstein's West Aspect Story are claimed by both of those opera along with the Broadway musical custom.
